It’s my mistake! I see the difference between the two sentences now. I do apologize.


If you say, “I’ll come back in a week,” it means that if you are saying this on a Monday, you will come back the next Monday. But if you say, “I’ll come back within a week,” it means that you might come back any day in the next 7 days… Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, etc.
