John: Did you like that movie Sideways Steph?
Steph: It was all right. It was kind of a weird movie. I think, I think it was a good movie for guys though. Did you like it?
John: I liked it. Ya know, there was a lot of hype beforehand so I was expecting more. So, I guess in the end it turned out to be pretty good. I’m not really sure why it was nominated for Best Movie though.
Steph: Ya know, there was so much wine being poured in that movie. Perhaps, um, it was nominated because it made people want to drink wine.
John: In a way. But there were some other messages in there about life and making decisions and changes and everything like that.
Steph: Yes, there were. That guy who played – oh man I forgot the character’s name – but he was the jerk guy, ya know?
John: Which guy was that?
Steph: He was the one who was gonna get married.
John: Oh yeah. And so, it was his bachelor party, right?
Steph: It was his bachelor party. And he was such a jerk, um, and he really taught me a lot about life.

There were two main characters in this movie. One of them, a real jerk, is getting married the following weekend. His Best Man takes him on a trip to wine country in California to celebrate.
The jerk spends the whole trip trying to mess around with other girls. This guy really gives guys a bad name.
After I saw this movie, I thought how awful it would be to have a boyfriend or husband like that.
