John: Have you seen Finding Neverland?
Kyle: Yeah. The movie with Johnny Depp?
John: Yeah. Did you think it was any good?
Kyle: Yeah. I really liked it. I liked it a lot actually.
John: Isn’t it about Peter Pan?
Kyle: It’s not really about Peter Pan. It’s more about the playwright who wrote the play Peter Pan.
John: Oh. That’s right. I saw it a long time ago. But I remember it’s good.
Kyle: Yeah. It’s a really touching story. He takes on this little family as kind of his own and really bonds with the boys.
John: Ya know, Johnny Depp’s a really good actor.
Kyle: He’s a great actor.
John: Have you seen some of his other films?
Kyle: Oh yeah. They’re awesome.

Discussion
This movie sounds really interesting. It’s neat when movies are based on the lives of real people.
They playwright who wrote Peter Pan had a lot of experiences with people that helped influence his writing, too.
Have you ever thought about writing a play? What would you write about? Would you create characters based on people in your own life?
