Michael Jackson is back! It’s been 6 years since his last album with new songs, but things haven’t changed a bit. He’s still the “King of Pop!”
Read on to learn more about Michael’s new album, Invincible.

I like Michael Jackson’s latest album, but it’s nowhere near as good as his album’s of the past because it doesn’t sound new. It’s not innovative. It sounds like a lot of the other pop music on the radio these days.
I think part of the problem is that the young musicians of today have learned too much from Michael. NSYNC, for example, have mastered what they call “dirty pop” – which to me sounds a lot like Michael Jackson. Heck, the new pop stars even dance like Michael does. It’s hard for Michael to top an MTV full of Michael Jackson wanna-bes.
Michael’s new music doesn’t stand out from the crowd. However, there are two songs on the album I really like. One is the first single, called “You Rock My World.” It’s playing everywhere now, and you’ve probably heard it.
If you haven’t, CDNOW and hear a clip.
The second song I really like is called “Whatever Happens.” It’s an intense song about domestic violence that features Carlos Santana on guitar. The passion expressed in both the music and lyrics of this song is unmatched in the rest of the album.

I’m happy to have Michael back. He’s one of the world’s most incredible perfomers and he’s been gone too long. Hopefully, he’ll continue to make music for a long time.
