For those of you who don’t know, the Dave Matthews Band is one of the biggest, most popular bands in America. Millions and millions of people go to their concerts every year.

DMB’s music is much different than other popular music. Although it is extremely popular, it doesn’t often get played on the radio, and is only rarely on MTV. Once in a while, DMB makes a song or video that becomes a hit, but their music isn’t really about hit songs. Rather, it’s about great albums.
From the first song to the last, DMB’s albums are amazing. The band plays a variety of instruments, including the violin and the saxophone, which give the music a different flavor than other contemporary rock music. Dave Matthews, who is the band’s leader and singer, writes beautiful song lyrics.

The lyrics are quite poetic, and show a lot of emotion. Dave Matthews is able to express very complicated feelings in his songs. People love the songs he writes because they can relate to them, and identify with them.
