Britney Spears is, without a doubt, one of the biggest stars in the world of entertainment. Even though her singing voice is less than spectacular and her acting skills are less than convincing, she remains one of America’s most well-known and sought after performers. Her beauty and her sometimes outrageous fashion statements keep her in the pages of magazines, newspapers and websites all over the globe.
Britney recently released a new album, titled In the Zone. Read on to learn all about it!

Britney’s new album is actually getting some praise from music critics. In the past, many people have said that Britney’s voice is subpar and that her songs are boring. However, many of those same people are now saying that In the Zone is a decent album, and features some really good pop songs.
One of the songs that’s getting a lot of positive response is called “Me Against The Music.” It features Madonna as well as Britney, singing together. Check out some of the lyrics:
No one cares
It’s whippin’ my hair,
it’s pullin’ my waist
To hell with stares
The sweat is drippin’ all over my face
No one’s there
I’m the only one dancin’ up in this place
Tonight I’m here
Feel the beat of the drum,
gotta get with that bass

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I don’t like Britney Spears’ music! I don’t mean to be a hater, but it’s just frustrating that Britney gets so much attention, and makes so many millions of dollars when so many better artists are struggling to be heard. Britney isn’t nearly as talented as hundreds of other singers who don’t even have record deals.
If you’re a Britney fan, you should at least give some of your attention to a few of her pop contemporariesNelly Furtado, Michelle Branch and Avril Lavigne.
Rock on,
