Steph: Hey, Derek, have you ever been to myspace.com?
Derek: Uh, no. I haven’t really. Um, I’ve heard of it, but.
Steph: Yeah. It’s really cool. Um, there’s a place, it’s really good for musicians and stuff because you can upload your music onto the internet. And you can actually display 4 songs on there. And it’s like a little miniature website for bands.
Derek: Kind of like an easy promotion for some smaller bands.
Steph: Yeah, it’s really great because you can send links out to your friends and to your fans and stuff. And, um, they can just really easily access your stuff and decide if they like you or not.
Derek: That’s really cool. I think that, uh, that should be. Is it pretty well published or publicized?
Steph: Yeah. It’s pretty well known among the, the local musicians or the smaller bands. Um, but if you go there, you can search for bands in your area or in your region. And see if there’s any that you might like.
Derek: Sounds pretty cool. I might go and check it out.
Steph: Awesome. You should. And look for my band while you’re there.
Derek: I’ll do that.
