John: You seen any good flicks lately, dude?
Kyle: Actually, I’ve been watching tons of movies. I have a library card; get all my movies for free.
John: Oh nice. What are some of your favorites?
Kyle: Let’s see. The night before last, I watched Hero.
John: What’s that about?
Kyle: It’s one of those films, kind of like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Has Jet Li. It’s, uh, martial arts and mysticism all blended into one.
John: So, a lot of cool fight scenes?
Kyle: A lot of cool fight scenes, but also a cool story.
John: Didn’t you once practice to be a ninja?
Kyle: I’ve always wanted to be a ninja, but running on, uh, telephone wires scares me to death.
John: Yeah. It looks like that’d be really hard.

Martial arts films are pretty popular here in America. A bunch of my friends are really into them.
Personally, I like the fight scenes and the way that they use trick filming to get certain shots.
Are you into martial arts films? Have you ever studied a martial art?
