Taylor: You know, with inmate romances, you know, I can imagine that being pretty difficult to get the, ah, conjugal visits, ah, in line, you know, with a convicted murder. That, that would be difficult. Like Manson, I can’t imagine him having, like, you know, romantic relations.
Dave: Yeah, and well, you know, look at just the state of being an inmate, you know. Someone locked in prison, ah, you’re all alone and, what amazes me is that in America – and I don’t know about other countries in the world – there’s a certain population of women who are really, really attracted to incarcerated men.
Taylor: The mother hen instinct.
Dave: It is. You know, I don’t know. I don’t understand it. A lot of these guys will never be paroled but women fall for them. The Menendez brothers, I don’t know if you remember them from, gosh, maybe ten years ago. They killed both of their parents.
Taylor: Mm hm.
Dave: Both of them have been married in prison.
Taylor: Man, you know, it must be all those empty nesters looking for something to fill up their lives after their husbands divorced them, you know. A felon suddenly takes the place of dad.
Dave: Yeah, yeah. It’s a strange country we live in.
Taylor: Yeah.
