Dave: So, you know, Celine Dion is singing at Caesar’s Palace in Vegas.
Taylor: Mm hm.
Dave: Have you heard about this?
Taylor: I’ve heard, and it seems very appropriate.
Dave: Does it?
Taylor: Yeah, well. Las Vegas is a place of excess, you know.
Dave: Yeah.
Taylor: People go there to do things with each other and other people that’ll stay there, you know.
Dave: Yeah.
Taylor: And I’m just hoping that that’s what’s actually going to happen with Celine Dion.
Dave: Is that she stays there?
Taylor: Right. She’s now corralled into the Las Vegas zone and she’s never going to leave.
Dave: Let’s hope not. But, her contract is only for three years. She’s getting paid $100 million dollars plus fifty percent of the profits for three years of performing at Caesar’s Palace.
Taylor: If I had a lot of money, and I was stuck in Vegas for three years, I’d get fat because there’s those buffets.
Dave: Oh yeah! Have you been to Vegas?
Taylor: I went to Vegas a few times when I was a kid. I have never been there as an adult, though.
Dave: No?
Taylor: So I don’t really know what the big deal is. It’s just really bright and scummy as far as I’ve been able to see.
Dave: Pretty much. I mean, it is really corny with all the bright lights. It’s a place I can go once a year, three days at the most, and then I’m just burned out.

Las Vegas is an exciting and energetic city. It’s known as “Sin City” because of all the bad but fun things you can do there: gambling, drinking and all sorts of adult entertainment.
There are a number of less sinful things to do in Vegas, though. The city has a number of shows, including Celine Dion’s show at Caesar’s Palace, David Copperfield’s magic show, and Cirque du Soleil.
