Sometimes it’s just hard to make a move. Especially if you can’t get a read on what the other person is thinking.
Remember back to the first episode of our soap opera, when Amanda tried to hint to Mason that she liked him? Since then Marni gave her some advice and now comes the moment of truth. She’s cuddled up on the couch watching a movie with her sweetie. What will happen?

Amanda: Oh yeah me too. It’s so weird how they’re friends but sometimes they end up in bed together. It’s so weird…
Mason: I know! Ross and Rachel, right?
Amanda: Yeah…
Mason: Yeah, they’re the best.
Amanda: Yeah and Monica and Chandler but it’s this secret thing kind of…Gosh, is it cold? I feel like it’s really cold. Mind if I…
Mason: Yeah? It’s kind of…you can…go ahead. It’s cool.
Amanda: Do you mind if I kinda do this kinda thing?
Mason: Well, yeah, I mean, I don’t have my shoes. Get my toes. Get my toes. Thank you.
Amanda: I’m kind of falling off the couch here so is this okay? Is this…
Mason: HAHAHAHA! Oh Joey is the best. Oh man…
Amanda: Oh yeah, huh huh.
Mason: “How you doin’?” That’s awesome. I never get tired of that, I tell ya.
Amanda: So yeah. Are you still cold? Because I have some ideas of how to warm up and stuff.
Mason: Huh? Wait, hold on. I love this part. HAHAHA!
Amanda: I feel like my clothes are kind of constricting. I don’t know…Are you comfortable?
Mason: What did you say? Yeah…what? This is fine.
Amanda: Okay. ‘Cause, we can change like…I brought my overnight bag. I have my pajamas…
Mason: I hate commercials. I’m sorry, I gotta…Oh my…Friends is playing on another channel. Yeah!

Amanda and Mason are channel surfing when they land on Friends. Amanda comments on how funny it is that even though the characters in the show are supposed to be just friends, they sometimes become lovers. Hmmm, does that situation sound familiar?
Amanda says she’s feeling cold, so she throws a blanket over herself and Mason and scootches up next to him. She’s closing in, but he doesn’t seem to notice anything out of the ordinary. He laughs at the show.
Though she’s starting to get frustrated, Amanda suggests that she and Mason change clothes. She says she brought her overnight bag. But Mason just continues to laugh at the TV and changes the channel because there’s a commercial.
Will he ever notice that she loves him?
