After months of planning and flip flopping about whether she was going to go or not, the big moment is finally here. Manri and John are in Vegas. What do you mean you don’t believe us? We went to Turkey and China. You don’t think we can make it to Las Vegas, Nevada? Can’t you see that Vegas sign up there? Never mind the green shadow around John’s arm. That’s not from a green screen. That’s from the bright lights of Vegas!

Marni: Gosh. I cannot believe how beautiful Las Vegas is. It’s so fun here.
John: Yeah. It’s a really cool place. It’s really pretty.
Marni: There’s so much going on and it’s just so exciting, and when you won all that money, and then you lost it on all that…You know, that unfortunate bet you made. But still, I mean, who cares? We were having so much fun and…
John: I came really close to winning big.
Marni: You did. You did. You did. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have even brought it up…
John: And you know you woulda gotten some presents from that.
Marni: You’re so sweet. I, you know, I just…I have to admit, I was so nervous and now I’m just…You know, that felony charge…I got really scared, but then…It was all just a misunderstanding.
John: You mean where I saved the kids…
Marni: Yeah.
John: ...from the burning building?
Marni: I mean, they thought it was arson, but in actuality it was just a misunderstanding and you were trying to save those orphans. So sweet.
John: You know me.
Marni: Well…Gosh, I hate that our time is almost ending here. I hope that you’ll come visit me in Portland.
John: I’d love to. Maybe in like a few months or something?
Marni: Sure. Yeah. That sounds great.
John: It’s a cool place?
Marni: Yeah. It is. You’ll have a lot of fun. I promise.
John: OK.
Marni: I know how to show a guy a good time.
John: Really?
Marni: Yeah.
John: Well, maybe I’ll give you a call then.
Marni: Sounds good. Alright. So where are we gonna go next?
John: How about New York, New York?
Marni: Sounds good.
John: OK.
