Steph: So, it’s a nice day to go to the beach what do you think, John?
John: Are we going?
Steph: Yeah. Totally. Load up in my car. I’m ready right now.
John: Ya know, we should take my jeep. There’s a, have you ever been to Gearhart?
Steph: Gearhart. Is that where they have the sand dunes?
John: Actually, it’s a big open beach where you can drive your car on the sand.
Steph: Oh. That sounds really cool. I’ve never been there before.
John: Yeah. It’s like 10 miles of beach and you can drive. And there’s a little bit of sand dunes, but not a whole lot.
Steph: Is it easy to get to? Is it easily accessible?
John: Yeah. You just drive off the road, right onto the sand. It’s cool.
Steph: Neat-o. We should totally go. Let’s go.
John: Ok.
Steph: All right.

It’s so much fun to play hooky and go to the beach for the day. Nobody has to know where you are at. You can just take off and not tell anyone.
Is there a beach or some other fun area where you live? The closest beach to Portland is about an hour and a half away. It’s not that far, but sometimes the weather is different out there.
You should always check the forecast before you go because it might not be as nice there.
