Yesterday was the first day of Summer in the U.S. I really look forward to lots of fun summertime activities.
One of my favorite activities is camping. There are some basic things you’ll need before you go. Read on to learn what those things are!

When camping, you want to make sure that you are dressed appropriately. It’s always good to wear good strong shoes like boots. Wool socks are good in case your feet get wet. Wool sweaters are good for the same reason. Bring a raincoat in case it rains.
You’ll need a number of supplies too. Try to fit everything you need in your pack. Bring a tent to sleep in and a tarp to put underneath it. Have a warm sleeping bag and a pad to lay on.
Outside the tent you’ll probably want a fire to stay warm. For the fire you should bring matches and firewood if you have it.
Once you get hungry, you’ll need a stove and pots to cook in. Bring some silverware, cups and plates. Common food to eat are hot dogs, chili, soup and other things that can be cooked in a fire.
And most of all remember to have fun!

Does this get you in the mood to go camping? It does for me. I think I might go to the coast this weekend and have some fun. I like to camp in the mountains, but I like the coast too because the temperature is cool and the ocean is nice.
See you at the campsite!
