In the United States, one of peoples’ least favorite places to go is the DMV. This is where one goes to get his or her driver’s license, and do other things involving cars. People hate the DMV so much because it takes a very, very long time to get any work done there. People often wait in line for hours before they can even talk to someone who works there. Often, people waiting at the DMV are bored out of their mind.
The DMV can be really bad, but it isn’t the only boring place in the world. Many people are bored out of their mind at work. That’s really sad, because most people spend around 40 hours at work every week! But some jobs are just more exciting than others. Let’s hope you can find a job that isn’t too boring.

Romeo: Hide me!
Brian: Uh… yeah, sure! Under here.
Romeo: Thanks, man.
Brian: No problem. Wait a minute. I know you. Romeo Trivino! What are you doing here?
Romeo: I was bored out of my mind at the studio, so I decided to get some coffee. I wore my normal disguise, but it didn’t work today.
Brian: You wear a disguise?
Romeo: It’s the only way I can have a normal life. I wore my hat and my sunglasses. It still didn’t work!
Brian: What else do you do to blend in?
Romeo: Sometimes I wear things people don’t normally expect me to wear.
Brian: Like a dress.
Romeo: No, but that’s not a bad idea. Unless I wear something really unusual, people always recognize me.
Brian: What about makeup?
Romeo: Too time-consuming.
Brian: Prosthetics?
Romeo: Too expensive. Although a fake nose might come in handy! You’ve got some great ideas. What’s your name?
Brian: Brian.
Romeo: So Brian, what’s up with all the photos of the celebrities? Are you with paparazzi?
Brian: No, no, no. I would be bored out of my mind with a job like that. My company is StarScoop.com.
Romeo: No kidding! I’ve heard of you guys. We might be able to help each other out.
Brian: Hey, I’m all ears.

Brian is quietly working in his office when all of a sudden, a man runs in and says, “Hide me!” Confused, Brian jumps under his desk with the man. As it turns out, the man who is in Brian’s office is the famous movie star Romeo Trivino! It’s not every day that a celebrity comes to your job.
Romeo says he was bored out of his mind at the studio, so he left, but his disguise didn’t work. Too many people came up to him outside, so Romeo came to hide in Brian’s office. They quickly became friends, and realized they might be able to help each other out.
What famous movie star would you like to meet the most? And what do you have to do that leaves you bored out of your mind?
