Steph: So how was the concert last weekend?
Em: It was amazing!
Steph: Who’d you see again?
Em: I went to see four bands – one called Point Line Plank, one called the Sword’s Project, Shannon Wright and Firetheft.
Steph: I’ve heard you talk about Shannon Wright before. What’s she like?
Em: She’s so great. She rocks!
Steph: Really?
Em: Yeah, she really does.
Steph: Where’s she from?
Em: She’s from Georgia. I’m not sure exactly where in Georgia, but, yeah…
Steph: Have you ever seen her play before?
Em: I’ve seen her three or four times. And every time I see her she just blows me away.
Steph: Really?
Em: The first time I saw her was here in Portland. But then I saw her once in England too.
Steph: Wow. Cool, have you ever met her?
Em: Actually, I met her at the concert.
Steph: Wow! That’s so cool.
Em: I got really nervous, but the friend I was with kind of pushed me and made me go and, um, I noticed that she was in the bathroom so I kind of saw it as my opportunity to go in and tell her just how great she was.
Steph: Fun!
Em: Yeah I was nervous, but, I gushed a lot, but it was good.
Steph: Cool
Em: Yeah
Steph: Good, well I’m glad you had a good time!

Discussion
What would you do if you ran into someone you really admired? Would you make an attempt to talk with him/her or would you just go about your business and not say anything? Why or why not?
Have a super week!
