Zach: So Joe, are you going watch any of those uh, Christmas movies that are on TV all the time these days?
Joe: Yeah, I sure am Zach. I’m gonna watch one in particular.
Zach: Oh? Which one?
Joe: I’m gonna watch “A Christmas Story.”
Zach: Oh yeah! I remember that. Isn’t that the one with the kid and the BB gun or something?
Joe: That’s right. It’s about uh, two little boys. One little boy his name is Ralphie and he wants a beebee gun for Christmas but everybody is telling him that he can’t have a BB gun ‘cause he’ll shoot his eye out.
Zach: Oh yeah! I remember that. That’s a classic.
Joe: Yeah, it really is and, it’s actually a tradition with me and my brother to watch that movie every year.
Zach: Oh really?
Joe: Umm Humm .
Zach: What are some… I can’t remember much else about the movie.
Joe: Aw… well… there’s a lot of different funny scenes in the movie but one of the funniest scenes in the movie is… is where at the end of the movie the dog… the neighbors dogs bust into Ralphie’s house because they smell the aroma of a turkey and so they come into the kitchen and they grab the turkey off the table and they rip it to shreds and they eat it up and only leave ‘em a drumstick left.

Discussion
Joe loves “A Christmas Story.” It’s a great movie, and Joe is excited about telling Zach why he likes it so much. Zach and Joe are good friends, so Zach feels comfortable asking Joe questions. Joe speaks quickly in the last part of this conversation. He can be a little hard to understand, but it’s important that you try! “A Christmas Story” is one of the best movies of the holiday season. It’s really strange and funny so, I give it an 9 out of 10. Have questions about Christmas movies? Come to the “Movie Madness” message board and ask them! From the front row, Migs
