Catherine:  I started to tell you about Starger. He really isn’t Starger any more. The dominant side is still this horrible thing, but there’s a positive side.

Peter:  Positive side?

Catherine:  The way he sees himself as a child.

Peter:  Isn’t that him.

Catherine:  I think he was trying to make contact. He’s curious about me. If I can reach the boy then maybe he can tell me about Julia. Whatever happened to Charlie Gish?

Peter:  Charlie beat the murder rap, because, uh, he was insane when he killed her. His attorney milked the jury for all they were worth. Said that a life of sexual abuse drove him to do these things. That’s a load of shit.

Catherine:  Why is that bullshit?

Peter:  I believe a child can experience abuse 20 times worse than he experienced and still grow up to be somebody who would never ever hurt another living thing.

Catherine:  Are you sure of that?

Peter:  Yes I am.

Gordon:   Hey, where the hell you been?

Peter:  Uh, right here.

Gordon: Well next time tell me OK?

Peter:  I didn’t want to disturb you. You looked all cute, you know. You’re all sleepy when you get that look on you.

Gordon:   Your colleagues want to know what to do with Starger.

Catherine:  Tell them to prep. I’ll be right there.

Peter:  Thank you Catherine.

DISCUSSION

Peter has been trying to convince Catherine to help the FBI to help save the newest victim. But, what he is asking is very difficult.

Discussion

This film is a cross between The Silence of the Lambs and The Matrix. It uses stunning visual cinematography to convey the story. The story is fairly simple and grotesque. There are some gory scenes, so beware. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad either. I give it a 6 out of 10 Have you seen THE CELL and you want to share your opinion? Or maybe you have seen another movie recently you want to talk about? Well, come to the “Movie Madness” message board and tell us about it! From the front row, Senior Movie Snob
