Do you know the language of flowers?  Each kind of flower has it's own unique meaning. When you send flowers to your friends, lovers, or someone you love, you're telling them something, even if you do not speak a word!

Take pink carnation for exmple, which is one of my fav. There is a story about Mary, the mother of Jesus, crying for her son as he carried the cross. The pink carnation just grew from where her tears fell on. So, now, the carnation has become a symble of great mother's love.

We always send roses to our loved one, but different colors have totally different meanings. For instance, white roses are a symble of innocence, pink roses are for happiness and of course red roses mean deep love. As for yellow roses, they mean envy. So be careful which color you choose, or you might be sending the wrong messages!!!

By the way, my favotite flower is orchid, which means sensible.

So, what are you waiting for?  Running to the flowershop and sending a flower to the one you love and love you!!!!!

i can see that our government know more about the flowers than we do, thats probably the reason why they insist to use flowers instead of the mascot FUWA in the Olmypics::))

As a beijing girl, i'm obligated to give you guys a brief introduction of the most typical local flavored food in beijing, which has a history of over 600 years- the beijing roast duck.

The duck must be superior quality and be forced-fed 4 times a day to make them grow fast so that each duck can be 6-7 ponds in weight when killed, but actually they are only two months old.

The process of the roast is a kind of convoluted! With the injection of the compressed air and some boiling water poured inside,  the roasted duck skin is crisp and gold brown while its meat remains juicy and tender.  And the firewood is special too, its the fruit tree branches which give the duck more fruity flavor.

Beijing roast duck is served in a unique way.First the chef show you the whole duck and cut it in front of you and then take it away to slice up. One duck can be sliced into about 120 thin pieces, each having both skin and meat. That's amazing!!! And the dinner is served with some thin pancakes, green onion and sweet soybean paste.  Put them together into your mouth, and then, you are just in heaven!!!

So if you come to beijing someday, don't forget to make me informed and i will be your guide and take you to eat this delicious food!~

How do you deal with the feelings of depression, anger, stress, conflict, loneliness, frustrate or disappointment? Do you find comfort or relief in food?  Well, if your answer is 'yes', you may be categorized as an 'emotional eater'.

What the hell is the emotional eating?  It's a practice of consuming a large quantities of food-usually the junk food- in response to feelings.

What are the consequences of this emotional eating? Basically, the comfort you find in food is temporary, and it doesn't resolve your issues of life, instead, it induces long-term consequences such as obesity, emotion unstability, guilt and shame. That is terrible, and we have to make some changes.

What are some practical steps to change this eating patterns? First, asking yourself that what triggered you need some food, feelings or hungry? And remember that, eating, though an enjoyable process, should be based on hungry. Then, learning how to tackle problems with new skills which will help you to face the problems head-on versus supress them by depending on food. Last, building your own self-conference which will enable you to express your feelings in a healthy way rather than finding comfort in food.

So, let's stop being an emotional eater from now on!
