Ok Thukaa,

Here is a very simple cooking lesson.  We are going to make an Omlete.   عِجَّة بَيْض I think this is how you say it in Arabic.

Get 2 or 3 eggs,

a small onion,

3or 4 mushrooms,

half a green pepper.

Now, dice the Onion and the green pepper and  slice the mushrooms and put them in a bowl with the onions and the green pepper.

Then break the eggs in a different bowl and beat the eggs, add some salt and pepper and a little bit of milk (two table spoons) and beat some more.

After this get your frying pan (non stick) ready with some butter (not too much maybe a teaspoon) when the butter is almost melted put the vegetables in and let them cook for 3 minutes or more if you like vegetables to be well cooked.  I like my vegetables a little crunchy :). When the vegetables are ready beat the eggs a little bit and add them to the frying pan ... make sure to go around the pan so you cover all the vegetables with egg.  lower the heat so you don't burn the eggs and cover the frying pan for 2 to 3 minutes then take off the cover and with a flat wooden spoon check to see if the bottom of the eggs are cooked.

If the bottom is cooked we are ready for the hard part ... ok ... carefully slide the omlete onto a plate clean the pan with a paper towel (be careful not to burn your fingers) then put the pan up-side down on the plate and turn them together.  Now the cooked part of your omlete is on top and the other side is cooking.  Put back on the stove and wait 1 to 2 minutes on high heat and then lower heat and wait until it's cooked.  slide onto plate and enjoy .... :)

Let me know how it was .. lol   Bye
