As part of your plan before giving a presentation you must know who you are going to present to.

Then you make your presentation suitable for the people who will be there.

You should spend at least 1 hour preparing your presentation; that is looking at who will attend, what message do you want to leave in their minds and how they will see you message.  Remember the more you put into a presentation the more likely you are to win your point of view.  Nobody likes to listen to a poorly presented piece of work.  It is wasting your time!

After you have made your plan your should immediately write the introduction slide and the last slide AT THE SAME TIME.  Your presentation will start and end with the same message.

You will need to practice about 10-20 times your start and end of the presentation.  You want a good start and a perfect end.  Remember you will be remembered for how you started and most of all how you finished.

Imagine if the audience are there to buy your product or your brand.  What do you want them to buy?

When you are happy with the start and end now you can work on the middle section.

Good luck!
