I want to make new friends

Hello everyone my name is Joy. I am a Thai national but I am now living in England with my English husband. We have no children but I love shopping, cooking, spending time with my friends, etc. I want to make friends who want to practise English the same as I do. I have an English husband but in my opinion it is better not just learn how to speak English but also to learn about other cultures, languages and make new friends. A good way to make friends that speak English is to go into different forums. You can meet a lot a people from different parts of the world. You can meet them online and perhaps they will even have a microphone where you can talk one-on-one with a native speaker. Check out the Blabbinit webstie at www.blabbinit.com . Dear Shuet,

I am sorry for my late reply that because I have been busy practising for my UK driving test. My Thai licence could only be used for a year and so I have had to learn the UK driving methods and take the test. The test is in two parts, a theory test which includes the rules of driving here and now to look out for dangerous situations and a practical test which is the driving of a car on the roads to show that you are safe and competent. I am pleased to say I passed both of the test first time.

I have not been in touch with Katie since she left England but I still see her mother sometimes when I visit the village where she used to live. Katie and her husband are now looking after his family business which is a car showroom in Kuala Lumpur.

I have very little knowledge about Malaysia and if you do not mind, I would like you to tell me more about your country.

I like to read Thai news papers on the Internet to get to know, and keep up to date with, the things going on in Thailand.  I love watching Fashion TV  and keep myself abreast of the latest trends and I like to think I am a fashionable person!!
