Who can tell me how to make a weekly English report?

My boss request me to make a weekly English report about politics and economy.I have never make the report like that and my major is information engineering.How can I do?What can I start to?

If you have experience like what I said,please help me.Or just tell me how can I fall to doing.Thanks everybody who can help me.

I made weekly report  in the past , but I made in the excel, so I think it's very different from yours. I am very regretful . I am sorry I can't help you

major(subject),detail(subject),begin date,end date,plannig rate of progress(this week),plannig rate of progress(next week)
