So,can you explain further? İf God does not test the faith of his adherents,do they not go to Paradise….

Well I can explain you the further…The God does not testing his adherents because God know what will do his adherents before.. I mean which road would he/she choose or where to go after die….

But let me explain you in a simple way…If we opened our eyes in hell without coming Earth and saw others going to Hevan then we would want to know why we desirve the Hell and we would not believe the answer we got,we would think that its all a lie we couldnt be so much bad for deserving the Hell…That is why we are here to understand…

Do not get me wrong I'm respected to the way you believe  this is just my opinion :)

thanks for your thoughts on this, MissMc.

I have to agree that an all-knowing god would of course know if his adherents are strong in their faith or not and that it would not make sense to test that faith. At least not for the reason of knowing their commitment

Manar and others disagree though. Not only Muslims, but christians as well. Many explain the bad things that happen to people as their god's way of testing them.

"Only a fool will say in his heart that there is no God". Just look at how unique each one of us on this planet is, how will you explain that if you remove God from the equation. Pick up a rose and see how beautiful it is, look at the sunset and let it send a message to your heart, listen to the sound the waterfall makes, look up to the blue sky and see the birds soaring high, Look at an amoeba or a paramecium under a microscope and after all that if you still think there is no God then i officially and spiritually declare you a Big Fool, and i'll never apologize for doing that.

well, call me a Big Fool then, Spartan.

I can appreciate the beauty of the world and the universe and feel no need to ascribe any of it to some supernatural power.

'A' You've followed this forum since it began and you've maintain your stand that there's no God. Or atleast you don't seem to believe there is a God. C'mon all this is same. Then i've got a simple question for you; Do you Believe in Satan and demons? I expect you to say "No" But let me have a comfirmation from you.

yes, I have followed this thread (and the 3 or 4 just like it) from the beginning, and have seen no compelling reason to change my belief that there is no god. There is no "seem" about it.

Your expectations are accurate. I do not believe in Satan or demons either. Nor do I believe in fairies, genies, elves or Santa Claus. All are in the same category as GOD or other invisible friends.

I am a Muslim. But not because my father or my grandfather is Muslim. Because I searched and choose it.. be sure that I considered the option"if there is no god" but I feel relieved when I'm scared after remembering God or I saw my preyings coming true I saw some supernatural things. the science is not enough sometimes I think or the belief is not enough. Both of them are neccesseray and my religion supports Science. "Learn science even it is in China" says my prophet Muhammed.

But others knowing almostly anything about their religion says things which show us they don't truely understand. Like you said some says we are here for test. God is all-knowing and we are here to understand acording to my belief and the rest is not concern me.

And I am adverse the way of thinking others ,who dont agree with our thoughts, are stupid silly or fool. You can have valid reasons for your idea as well as me. We must respect each others ideas otherwise the thing we are doing here "sharing ideas" become fight.

You seem very reasoned and open minded, MissMc, and I appreciate your comments, even if we disagree on issues of gods and beliefs. I also agree that calling a person silly, foolish, or stupid because of their ideas is not conductive to good dialogue, but I do feel that it's fair to call the ideas foolish or silly if warranted.

I don't think that religious ideas should hold a privileged spot and be exempt from critical analysis. If someone tells me that they think the 9/11 hijackers were actually Israeli agents and the passengers of all the hijacked planes are still alive in an underground bunker, I will not hesitate to call their ideas silly. I would feel the same if someone tells me that an invisible creature who knows and sees all created me and wants me to worship him (and if I don't, I will suffer for eternity after I die)

I know and I understand you but you should think that believers could feel the same if you say there is no supernatural things or there is no God. The point is empathy here :)

I will respect if a person says I believe in God like I will respect another saying there is no God or the one saying the cow is my God how silly it seems does not interest me I just respect and this not shows that I am agree with them.

And I agree with you " Small people debates people, normal people debates events, and big people debates ideas" We choose our category.

Your replys are sententious that is why I am answering you. And we can debate about belief in a respectful way I can listen your thoughts and you can contradict mines I am not the one who dont talk with atheist I can talk about this issues too because I ve got enough information to defend my ideas. That is why the others who dont know anything but pretending does not even listen I think….
