Hey everyone :) My real name is Gitte and it means "The risen one" or "to be exalted". Now you could think that I have chosen my nick in connection to my real name, but that´s not right. When I decided to name myself "Rise" here, I did not have a clue how to translate my real name´s meaning into English. I just found out later when once someone in chat asked me for the meaning of my name. That had been the first time I translated it, because before there hadn´t been a need to. Hehe… now I could believe in happenstances, but nevertheless I don´t. ^^
