Steph: Hey, so my friend went and saw Batman last week and he said it was really good.
Derek: Yeah. That looks like it would be a pretty cool movie. Do you know anything about it?
Steph: Well I know that, um, that it’s featuring the Scarecrow.
Derek: Ah, yes, the new enemy.
Steph: Yes, that’s right. He takes the place of Penguin and all those other past enemies that Batman has had.
Derek: It’s about time he has a new one.
Steph: Exactly. I’m not really sure what his powers are though. Do you know anything about that?
Derek: I don’t really. The visuals look like they would be pretty cool this time.
Steph: Yeah. Totally. And I guess Batman’s car is all decked out. And he’s got all kinds of cool gadgets.
Derek: Ah yes, the utility belt.
Steph: I wish I had a Batmobile.
Derek: That would be cool.

Batman is an icon in America that many people know about. They know about his history, his enemies and his good old friend Robin.
Like many Americans, I grew up watching Batman and Robin_* cartoons on TV and love the stories. Like a lot of people, I am totally excited to see the new movie.
Are you very familiar with Batman? Were you ever into the Batman*_ comic strips or cartoons? What do you know about the story?
