Derek: Hey. Have you ever listened to Johnny Cash?
Steph: Yeah. He’s pretty good.
Derek: Yeah. Recently, I, um, heard this new song. Well, I guess it’s about a year old. But, it’s a remake of a Nine Inch Nails song and I thought that was pretty cool.
Steph: Did Johnny Cash remake a Nine Inch Nails * song? Or did Nine Inch Nails remake a Johnny Cash song?
Derek: Uh, Johnny Cash remade the Nine Inch Nails one. And it was pretty good. It had him and his wife. And he was really old, ya know, playing on the piano. And it was kinda spooky actually.
Steph: That’s awesome. That’s really cool, though, that they make music together.
Derek: Yeah. It’s, um, very, ya know, modern for Johnny Cash to do that.
Steph: Did it have an eerie sound?
Derek: Yeah. Definitely.
Steph: That’s cool.
Derek: But that’s Nine Inch Nails* so.
Steph: Right.
Derek: But I though it was pretty creative.
Steph: Nice. Well, I’ll have to go check it out.
Derek: Yeah.

I’ll have to go check out that song. It sounds really interesting! It’s so sad that Johnny Cash passed away. He is missed by a lot of people.
But you know what? His music lives on. Do you know any Johnny Cash songs?
