Dave: Hey Taylor, I had this really weird dream last night where I’d seen the movie Napoleon Dynamite but I’ve never, I’ve never seen the movie. But I had a dream that I saw the movie and then I became this strange character in the movie. You ever have those dreams where reality just kind of shifts suddenly?
Taylor: Yeah, I’ve had those creepy dreams. Um, sometimes I try to, try to analyze what that reality might be.
Dave: I tend to analyze my dreams a lot, you know, over-analyze them to the point where I, I look at them as signs of, you know, warning signs of what should do, what I shouldn’t do. I don’t know if I believe in any of that. Do you?
Taylor: I, I definitely believe in that.
Dave: Yeah?
Taylor: Yeah, there’s another place and maybe someday we’ll tear open that little perforation between realities and walk into the universe next door.
Dave: So you think there’s a multi-dimensional…
Taylor: Certainly.
Dave: ...aspect to life?
Taylor: Certainly.
Dave: What about sleepwalking? Do you do that?
Taylor: No. No, you know, I would pretend to sleepwalk when I was a kid but really it was only to, to get attention when my parents had guests in the house.
Dave: I used to sleepwalk. I would have these weird dreams where I was looking for my brother when I was young…
Taylor: Mm hm.
Dave: ...and I’d wake up, you know, at the front door, like getting ready to unlock the door and walk outside. My mom used to have to, you know, put a chair in front of the door so I would wake myself up in my sleep.
Taylor: That’s creepy.
Dave: It is creepy.
Taylor: Yeah.
