So you know your town like the back of your hand right? You can find anything at any hour of the day and you know you live in the coolest place in the world right? What do you do when you have a visitor? Where would you take someone who had never set foot in (insert your town here)?
What I like to do is get advice from other people so that I can get a better picture of what people are doing. Listen to Beth and Stephanie as they chat about things to do in their city.
Dialog
1. Listen and Read - Listen to the audio and read the dialog at the same time.
2. Study - Read the dialog again to see how the vocab words are used.

Stephanie: So Beth, I have some friends coming in from out of town. What would you recommend I do with them?
Beth: Well there’s always the art museum which is fun. And since the weather’s nice there are lot’s of things you can do outdoors, like going to the park or maybe going to the Rose Garden.
Stephanie: Are the roses in bloom this time of year?
Beth: Oh yeah, they’re beautiful! This is the best time to go.
Stephanie: Cool, what about at night? Are there any things fun to do at night for them?
Beth: Well there are lots of restaurants and neat cafes downtown and all kinds of venues to see bands.
Stephanie: That sounds like fun!

Do you ever have visitors from out of town? How often do people come to visit you? If I were coming to visit you where you live, where would you tell me to go?
TTFN!
