Marni: Lily, what do you think of Hillary Clinton?
Lily: I think she’s definitely a strong woman.
Marni: Absolutely.
Lily: She’s been in politics for a long time now.
Marni: Well, right. Obviously, she first came to our attention as First Lady, when Bill Clinton was our president, and she’s really made quite a career for herself in politics. I thought she did a pretty remarkable job as Secretary of State, and now she’s stepped down, and I just kind of wonder what’s next.
Lily: Privacy! I’m sure she’s really excited about it.
Marni: Perhaps. Do you think of her as a trailblazer, though, for women in politics?
Lily: I think so. I think she’s an interesting and unique person just in politics in general, because she’s not afraid to say what she means.
Marni: This is true.
Lily: And she tells it like it is. Which I think is really refreshing.
Marni: So do you think she’s gonna run for president in 2016?
Lily: I don’t know. I would be excited about it if she did.
Marni: I think I would be too. Alright. Hillary, you have our undying support.

Discussion
Marni and Lily are discussing what they think about Hillary Clinton. They both agree that she’s a very strong woman, and that she has had a substantial political career, from her time as First Lady to her recent post as Secretary of State.
But what’s next for Ms. Clinton? Lily points out that she’s probably looking forward to getting a little privacy. Marni wonders, though, whether the time has yet come for her to have privacy. As a trailblazer for women, might she take the next step and run for President?
Both Marni and Lily agree that, if Hillary Clinton chooses to run in 2016, she would have their support.
What do you know about Hillary Clinton? Do you think she is a trailblazer for women, in the US or internationally? Do you think she’ll run for President in 2016?
