make the most of it

It’s just not to get frustated if something bad happens to us, insted we can take advantage of the situation exploring new things

Goes problem in my work, firstly I will try to find the problem source and think about how to solve it, so most of it I will try to do the best I can.

It’s Just to use what you have as skill to achieve your dream or to succes on life.It can mean enjoy the persons you have in your life as friends,lovers etc.

When I was a teenager I liked black haired girls. They seemed to me very attractive. But I couldn’t fall in love with them. I had short relationships with those girls. Now I’m in love with girl, who I studied with me in the same univerity, in the same group and speciality.

She is kind od blonde. Thereby I made the most of it.

As for me, I make the most of the situation to make the most of it, but perfection is unachievable.

By the way, does “to make the most of it” mean “to use something to the best advantage”? )  (My dictionary didn’t help me again.)

Its not one of the easiest things in the world making the most of it, but ive tried many times..
weeks ago i lost my internet connection for weeks. I was very bored without internet, so i made the most of it and found other things to keep me distracted like reading books n going to see some places.

a2020 Hello. I have just bought a Gigaset cordless phone , later i found out that the same phone was cheaper at another electronic dealer.   I don`t say that i was ripped off  but next time i will make sure  to compare prices in advance so as not regret later.

I was with my friends at the weekend. It was a friends reunion and we were planning to see new places together but the weather didn’t allow us to fulfill what we had on our minds. But we made the most of it. We couldn’t visit places we wanted but we stayed at home played games and watched movies and it was awesome as the important thing was to be together again and spend some time together.

Yeah i agree with the concept of lesson but it’s not easy sometimes to make most out of a situation. sometimes mind just stops and there is nothing to think about anymore. I had a bad situation few months ago. believe me it was really like hell and i couldn’t make most out of it.. Life sucks..:P

Most of us when we go to bed at nights, try to review our daily works, we may think about ...

1. what we have done,

2.what we needed to do but did postpone that

3. and what we were going to do, but due to some situations we couldnt  , so we decided to make the most of it to do another thing instead .

For me the 3rd one is more pleasant and joyful since i know i didnt waste my day.

When some thing which i got used to it goes wrong, isnt that easy to make the most of it ,but i guess i tried my best to overcome that bad situation ,ofcourse just by helping the time!

@Shoba, Hi…...   Same thing happened to me ,only that the culprit ,instead of a nail was fire. My Levis `s botton part was damaged , i was distressed becaused it was a new one  and it had cost me 35 dollars, then what ?? i did what you have done, now i have  a  shorter  version of levis  .   As you, instead of whining all along , i did the most of it , or better, the less of it.. jejejejje 

It’s a good topic because it happens to every people I think. Just some of them feel sorry for themselves and others try to do something against it. But it’s true that sometimes have to be very strong do something instead of regreting.

Ususally I fell sorry for myself a while after then I try to do a thing that I postponed many days or week, and I feel better immedietaly ! :)

And there is antoher good method to make the most of it. Try to smiling even if you have a bad mood and sooner or later your smiling will be true !

Anyway you can’t appreciate the good days if you don’t have some bad days ! :)

Since i have working flexible hours  many times i have  spare time , and  to make the most of it  i engage myself  in  the EB`s chat room. I couldn`t have made a better choice ,even early on in my youth i have had a strong attraction to the english idiom , i can not regularly pay for a private tutor , then  the chat room  fits in perfectly  to study  english and as a bonus to meet ” chatters” around the world . :))))
