Do you ever stay up all night, or eat too much junk food? The next day your body feels tired and you can’t do all the things you normally do. We all make mistakes that interrupt our schedules and screw up our bodies.
To screw up means to cause harm to something. For example, when you first learned to ride a bicycle, you probably fell many times. Did you screw up your legs or get hurt? Screw up also means to make a mistake. In school, if you don’t listen to the teacher, you screw up and get in trouble.
