John: Man, you don’t have any allergies do you Kyle?
Kyle: No, I never have had allergies.
John: Ya know, June here in Portland is terrible for hay fever. I’ve got it and I’m miserable.
Kyle: What’s hay fever?
John: Ya know, it’s allergies to pollen, like grass and tree.
Kyle: Right. Yeah, I know, my dad has that pretty bad too.
John: My eyes start itching, my nose is running. I’m a wreck.
Kyle: Sounds great man.
John: Well, I heard you might develop them later in life so if you do, I’ve got some medicine I can give you.
Kyle: I hope not, but if I do, I think I’ll wear one of those white masks around.
John: I used to do that when I was a kid. My mom made me. But then other kids made fun of me so she let me stop.
Kyle: Yeah, they don’t look too cool.
John: People called me Darth Vader.

I guess it’s time to start calling John Darth Vader. It sounds like his allergies are really acting up this year.
Last year, I thought I was developing allergies, but in the end it turned out to be just a bad cold. You can imagine how happy I was that it wasn’t allergies.
Do you have allergies? What are you allergic to?
