Nedra: Tanis, if you had a chance to be a character in a movie, who would you be?
Tanis: Uh, I don’t know… that’s a hard question Nedra, um, no one comes to mind right now. Who, who would you be?
Nedra: It’s a toss up. I think I’d like to be, uh, Ferris Bueller or Winona Ryder in Beetlejuice. They had fun characters.
Tanis: Oh yeah, those, those, are pretty kooky characters, real different those two, that’s funny. Um, gosh for me I guess I would say, I just saw Amelie, and I loved that. Have you seen that?
Nedra: No, but I’ve heard it’s great.
Tanis: Yeah, I would like to be like her ’cause she’s sort of, uh, a do gooder but she’s a lot more quiet than I am, so, I don’t know, uh, maybe just like more of a flamboyant character. I love The Little Mermaid.
Nedra: Yeah, I can see you singing a lot around the office.

Tanis had a hard time deciding who she would like to be. She chose the main character in the movie Amelie. Then she decided that Amelie was too quiet and the Little Mermaid would be her choice. Why do you think she chose a cartoon character? I bet it’s because, in cartoons, anything is possible.
I really liked the movie Ferris Bueller and it amazes me how much stuff Ferris gets away with. He has so much fun as a high school senior with his friend Cameron. What a life!
Who would you like to be? Who’s your favorite movie character? Share it with us on the Movie Message board.
Have a great week!
Nedra
