Russia. What do you think about Russia? Have you been in Russia, what your impressions? Would you like to visit Russia, why?

as arabic person russia means alot to me maybe because they'v an ancient civilization as we have & because there'r very important russian names who change ideas of millions around the world names like Tolsoy

further more the russians'v done alot for humanity, we never forget that the russians are the pioneers of the outer space discoverying ,so i think russia is one of the greatest nation,& ican't imagine wht the world would be like if russia was not in.

But a little remark: Stalin killed his own people, and he never attacked other counties! Unlike Hitler

As if only killing your own people is some act of great benevolence?

And perhaps you forgot about Poland, Finland and the Baltic States. I imagine though, that for many years (and maybe still now?) Russian schoolchildren were taught that the Red Army was invited into those countries.

Konsta, I don't have access to Soviet textbooks, and I was speculating, so thanks for the information. I was simply trying to remind Notred that Stalin indeed attacked other countries. 

I see. You're right. I think that period of our history was not the best one. 

I want to say that most of you have no idea about Russia. There are a lot of myths. And before talking about another country first read smth about history of this country

well i really love Russia since i was very young.i think Russians are very kind,pure and smart.^{^}

First i never been in Russia but i can tell u its in my top for the countrys I want to visit, I think its a great and beautiful country to vist…

well about the ppl I think they are very nice I already meet some and they are great..

btw I love the Russian language its one thing that i really want to learn
