Steph:  Hey, Emily, Evan Dando is playing at Lola’s Room on Thursday.

Emily:  Really? That’s great. I haven’t seen him for a really long time.

Steph:  Really? I thought you were super into him.

Emily:  I was, but only because this other singer, Juliana Hatfield was his bass player about 6 years ago.

Steph:  Oh really? Did they have a band together?

Emily:  They did, called The Lemonheads.

Steph:  Right.

Emily:  I have, like, all of their CDs.

Steph:  Totally. I think that he just re-released a CD. And I think he’s playing some of the old Lemonhead songs.

Emily:  Fun. I saw him at Lola’s Room about two years ago with Juliana Hatfield on bass and it was so much fun. It was great because I rarely go to concerts by myself. And I went there by myself and it was really fun. Like, I was talking to other people and just rocking out to the music. I felt really great. It was fun.

Steph:  Cool! I love rocking out alone.

Emily:  It’s super fun rocking out alone. I recommend it.
