Tanis

Joe:  Tanis, I can tell by your tan that you went someplace really warm for Thanksgiving.

Tanis:  Well, Joe, I went to Florida and then, um, I was down there doing just some work I guess but on the weekend I went to the Bahamas.

Joe:  Oh my gosh. The Bahamas? Oh my gosh. How was that?

Tanis:  Oh, it was amazing. I’ve never been anywhere like that. The water was just crystal clear, you could see to the bottom, it it was so beautiful and the weather was great and the people were wonderful.

Joe:  Wow. That’s incredible. Where did you stay?

Tanis:  Oh, it was just the craziest thing ‘cause my mom and I went together and we took a cruise, um, from

Florida over to the Bahamas and then we ended up staying in this hotel that was truly just five star resort. Gorgeous. It was called Our Lucaya and it was amazing.

Joe:  Wow. Yeah, so, I mean was the food a whole lot different than here in Portland where we live?

Tanis:  Well, yeah, it was real spicy. I tried to get some of the, um, you know, the, jerked chicken and stuff like that. I couldn’t hang with it. I, I had to just go back to the mild food.

Joe:  That’s cool.
