Now that winter is here, it’s time for winter sports. I’ve tried snowboarding, but my favorite is skiing.
Last weekend I went skiing with some friends. We had a great time. In this conversation I tell Migs all about it. Check it out.

Miguel: So how was your ski trip last weekend?
John: Oh, it was nice. I hadn’t been in about two years.
Miguel: So, were you still good?
John: Dude, I’m always good.
Miguel: So what, you were catching air, and like, doing backscratchers and stuff?
John: I don’t know. I’m not so into the tricks anymore now that I’m getting so old. You know, this ripe age of twenty seven. It was kind of funny, I just enjoyed staying in the middle of the run and not being too dare devilish.
Miguel: So you were pretty much on the bunny slopes all day?
John: No, I still skied the, uh, black diamonds, and a little bit of the blue intermediate runs, but, uh, just a lot less aggressive than I used to be.
Miguel: So did you ever fall?
John: I had a couple wipe outs, but nothing too serious.
Miguel: So you didn’t get hurt or anything.
John: Not until the next day when I woke up and my whole body was really, really sore.

Skiing is a very popular sport, but snowboarding is catching up. When you go to the mountains in the U.S., it seems that almost one-third of the people are on snowboards.
Other fun things to do in the winter include snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and my favorite—Snowball fights! :)
