Go Super to Listen Go Super!

The singer Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon are expecting their twins to arrive at any moment. And like any first-time dad-to-be, Nick is excited, joyful, and completely terrified.

Nick is afraid he’s going to be so nervous while Mariah is in labor, he might pass out. That’s why he says he has to man up, or act like a man and be brave.

Being a dad means you have to man up in a lot of ways. The delivery room is just where it starts. You also have to man up at home and help take care of the baby. You have to man up by supporting your family. You even have to man up and change the baby’s diapers. That really takes some toughness!

You don’t have to be a man to man up. Women can man up as well.

When was the last time you had to man up and do something that took courage?

The verb MAN UP, I suppose, can be modified to MAN DOWN.  So, there should be WOMAN UP and WOMAN DOWN.  Probably, a woman in order to have her baby, should say: now, I need to be a WOMAN UP.
