Steph: You gonna do any shopping on the Friday after Thanksgiving?
Derek: I don’t think so. I usually stay home on that day.
Steph: Really? It’s the biggest shopping day of the year.
Derek: And that’s precisely why I stay home.
Steph: What do you mean?
Derek: Well, the, uh, traffic is insane and the crowds at the stores are fairly large. It’s kind of hard to move around and look at things. But I know a lot of people go anyway.
Steph: That’s true. You know they’re lighting the Christmas tree on Friday.
Derek: The one downtown?
Steph: Yeah.
Derek: That sounds good. My daughter would probably like that.
Steph: She probably would. That would be kinda fun.
Derek: Yeah.
Steph: And they’re also gonna have all the holiday displays at the stores.
Derek: Oh yeah. Those are always fun to drive around town and look at in the windows.
Steph: Yeah. So you may as well just go shopping on Friday.
Derek: I might give it a shot. Or I’ll drop somebody off who goes shopping.

That’s a great idea! Maybe Derek will drop off his wife so she can go shopping. Then she can buy something for him.
I think I am going to see the lighting of the Christmas tree. It is so great to go downtown at night and have all those people there to see the tree.
Have a fabulous weekend! I know I will.
