Steph: Hey, Derek, Have you seen all those links for, uh, making donations to the tsunami relief funds?
Derek: Yeah. I sure have. It seems to be a fairly, uh, common thing on websites now.
Steph: I know. I saw one on google. I think I saw one on craigslist. Where have you seen them?
Derek: I saw ‘em on Amazon and a few other news sites.
Steph: Mmmhmm. Have you thought about donating?
Derek: Yeah. I thought about it. Um, the recommendations were to send some money because, ya know, products wouldn’t get there. But money might help out a little bit.
Steph: Right. Yeah. I heard that sending products isn’t a good idea because, um, the people might not necessarily use the same products as we do.
Derek: Yeah. And then they need to buy supplies and, ya know, be able to pay the volunteers that are over there, so.
Steph: Right. That’s true. I think I’m gonna try to donate this week sometime.
Derek: Sounds like a good plan. You’re a big-hearted person.
Steph: I try.

It’s really amazing how tragedy can bring people together. We are all watching with bated breath as the news reports more and more casualties.
Yet in the middle of all this, nations are coming together to help, volunteers are giving their time and people are making donations from around the globe to prevent further deaths and spread of disease.
If you can, please make a donation today.
