What are your goals in life? Some people have a very good idea of their life’s path. They know what they are going to do tomorrow, next month, next year… even in the next five, ten, or twenty years! Other people live day by day and decide what they are going to do based on the current situation. But whether you’re a planner or a more spontaneous person, surprises can always happen. You never know when a great opportunity or an exciting adventure will pop up. Because of this, it’s important to never say never.

We use the expression never say never to mean that nothing is impossible. For example, if you tell your friend, “I’ll never be rich,” they might tell you, “Never say never! You don’t know what might happen.” If you are someone who never says never, you are always open to new possibilities. You are excited about what they future might bring. You don’t want to limit yourself by always doing the same thing.

Actress Blake Lively loves her job as an actress, but she is open to other possibilities as well. She will never say never to doing something different in the future.

What are your future goals?
