As a student, Spring Break is probably the most fun vacation. Many people go to a warm place on the ocean to have fun partying with others. People will travel hundreds of miles to go to the craziest beach parties.
Once people graduate from school, they usually don’t go on a Spring Break vacation. However, Migs and I are kind of wishing that wasn’t true.
Listen to our conversation below and you’ll see what I mean.

John:  Don’t you wish we were off on some crazy Spring Break vacation right now?

Miguel:  That would be awesome. It is so hard to watch all those crazy kids having fun down in Mexico and Florida and stuff. It would be so much better than being in rainy Portland.

John:  I think we might be a little bit too old now though, don’t you think?

Miguel:  That’s true. Most of those kids look like they’re in their late teens or early twenties, but we could probably fit in.

John:  I guess it depends where you go. If we hit up one of those places that was all college kids, it would be a lot of fun, but we might be a little out of place.

Miguel:  Well, that’s cool. I’d still do it.

John:  Me too, I guess. Everyone’s so buzzed anyway. It’s pretty crazy all the stuff they’re doing down there with all the hot-body contests and food-eating contests down there.

Miguel:  I can’t believe some of the stuff they do. I saw this contest they were having on MTV where people had to bob for apples in this huge tank full of snakes. I would never do that.

John:  Didn’t you go to Mexico for one Spring Break a long time ago?

Miguel:  I did go to Mazatlán. It was no where near as wild as what I’m seeing on TV these days.

John:  Well I’ve never had the chance. I’m doin’ it next year for sure.

Discussion

Does Spring Break sound pretty crazy to you? Maybe you’d like to take part in some of the fun? If you go to the right places, it will be an experience you’ll never forget.
The most popular places to go for Spring Break are warm beaches. Cities like L.A., Miami, Mazatlan or Cancun see thousands of students each year. They go to spend a week in a bathing suit and party with other people.
Do you have any Spring Break stories to tell? If so, please come to the Life Goes On message board and share them with us!
