Mason: So what have you guys been up to? What’s been going on?
Marni: Ah, you know, I had the best day yesterday. I went for a lovely walk in the park and then Dale made me dinner!
Mason: Oh cool.
Marni: Yeah. He is so great.
Mason: I totally agree. You know, he and I hung out recently.
Marni: Really?
Mason: Yeah, and Ella, too.
Beren: Who’s Dale?
Marni: Oh you…You know…Really? You haven’t met…
Beren: No, no, no.
Mason: Alright. These are the coolest new kids. We met them out at a bar like a few weeks ago…
Beren: Uh huh.
Mason: ...and, uh…Man, it’s just like they just knew everything about us. We totally clicked.
Marni: We totally connected. And you know what? It’s funny you haven’t met them because they’re actually really…They were talking about you. They’re so anxious. They must be really excited to meet you.
Beren: What do you mean they were talking about me?
Mason: I think they’d like heard of your band or something like that. I mean, they were, like, enthused. Like super like, “Oh my gosh, you know Beren?” Like, “When can we meet her?”
Marni: Yeah.
Mason: “Can we have her phone number? What’s her address?” I mean, it was just like they couldn’t get enough.
Beren: You didn’t give them my phone number did you?
Marni: No, no, no.
Mason: I didn’t have it on me at the time.
Marni: But…
Beren: Alright.
Marni: Yeah. But you’ll meet them because we’ll all hang out soon and it’ll be great. You’re gonna love them. Seriously. Yeah, they’re great.
Mason: But seriously, it’s like there’s like this psychic link goin’ on. I mean, it’s like I love Ghostbusters, Dale loves Ghostbusters. I mean, if there was, like, some sort of file with, like, everything about me, it’s like they’d have read it.
Beren: Yeah.
Marni: Huh. Wow.
Beren: That’s kinda weird.
Marni: Isn’t it amazing when you meet people like that though?
Mason: I don’t even know.
Marni: They just totally…You connect with them and…
Beren: It’s a little odd.
Mason: It’s like BFF’s. Instant BFF’s is what it is.
Marni: Yeah. It kinda feels that way. I think you’re really gonna like them. It’s exciting. It’s nice to have new friends.
Mason: Absolutely.
Marni: Yeah.

Discussion
Marni and Mason have both been having fun with Dale and Ella. But they forgot to tell Beren about their new friends. Then Mason remembers that Dale has been asking about Beren. He wanted her phone number and wanted to see her band.
Mason jokes that Dale has a file containing information about him since he seems to know him so well already. Little does he know, Dale actually has just that!
Suddenly, Beren gets very nervous. As Marni and Mason continue to talk about how great Dale and Ella are, Beren looks more and more concerned. Do you think she’s guessed that Dale and Ella are cops who are looking for her?
